据财经网科技报道，著名作家琼瑶女士去世，震动整个华人圈。2018年3月10日，琼瑶曾接受封面新闻的采访。

在问到琼瑶创作时“浸入式”的创作方式时，琼瑶回应：“创作的时候经常无法控制自己的情绪，会很容易跟着角色的情绪走。因为我是一旦投入便全力投入的人。我几乎成天都埋首在工作里，甚至经常一天工作十六小时。”

今年9月26日，作为琼瑶女士个人文学回顾展在全球华人地区的首展，“沧海桑田心如故——琼瑶文学回顾展”，苏有朋在现场宣读了琼瑶写给此次展览的一封亲笔信。信中，琼瑶谈到写作对她的意义，“回顾我的创作历程，虽然是无比的艰辛，但此刻，我也觉得无比的荣幸，无比的快乐。‘写作’是我一生都不会后悔的决定。”
